Marche aux Puces de Saint-Ouen

Marche aux Puces de Saint-Ouen

I'm so eager to share what I've discovered from the streets of Lisbon, Portugal! But I can't quite move forward without looking back to share one of my favorite Paris memories:

a day spent at the world famous

Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen

The layout of the market is  fantastic. I just loved how each stall seemed to pour out from the stores into the alley ways.

From cane back chairs, to french linens, marble statues, & the most gorgeous chandeliers I've yet to lay my eyes on.. it was tough to remind myself that I couldn't just pack up a huge U-Haul & truck purchases home.

Nonetheless, I was in awe

& completely geeking out over every detail at the same time.

Here's to all things:

Industrial, French Provincial, & Chic.

What I found unique & what I absolutely loved about this market in particular was that they make it possible for you to spend the entire day there. {1. because it's huge! and you can't see it all in one visit. but 2. because they have coffee shops, crepe carts, and cafe's everywhere}

{This particular little cafe saved us from not only our rumbling stomachs but the rumbling sky as it began to pour half way through the afternoon!}

A BIG thanks to a fellow San Franciscan & blogger Jordan Ferney at O Happy Day! She shared directions on how to get to the flea market & created a fantastic map that we used to get  around. Thank you Jordan!

Take a Bow

Merci Beacoup Paris.

I will miss my afternoons at the Marche.
